Dr. Indra Mani Tripathi earned his Ph.D. in Earth Sciences from IIT Gandhinagar as a Prime Minister's Research Fellow (PMRF). His research focuses on stormwater management, water-sensitive urban planning, remote sensing, GIS, and environmental management. He developed the Water4Change (W4C) Index in collaboration with the international Water4Change project.
Dr. Pranab Kumar Mohapatra is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Gandhinagar. He earned his B.Sc. (Engineering) from IGIT, Odisha, and his M.Tech. and Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur. His research focuses on hydraulics and water resources engineering, particularly pipe and open-channel flow transients. He has previously served at IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, the University of South Carolina (USA), and the National Institute of Hydrology, Roorkee.
Prof. P. C. Pandey is a distinguished Earth and Ocean Scientist with over five decades of experience in oceanography, climate science, remote sensing, and water resources. He has held leadership positions at ISRO, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (USA), and IITs, including serving as the Founding Director of the National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR), Goa. He is currently a Visiting Professor in the Department of Earth Sciences and Adjunct Professor at IIT Gandhinagar.
Prof. Sharad Kumar Jain is a renowned hydrologist and water resources expert with over four decades of experience in hydrology, river basin management, and hydraulic engineering. He served as Director of the National Institute of Hydrology (NIH), Roorkee, and also held the additional charge of Director General, National Water Development Agency (NWDA), Ministry of Jal Shakti. He is currently a Visiting Professor at IIT Gandhinagar, with research interests spanning hydrology, water resources management, floods, droughts, climate change, and sustainable water management.
